Jimmy Fund Snow Challenge
About the Jimmy Fund
The Jimmy Fund Snow Challenge is a charity event to raise money for the Jimmy Fund. The Jimmy Fund supports the fight against cancer in children and adults at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping to raise the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world. Over the last 20 years, the event has raised more than $500,000 for the Jimmy Fund. The Snow Challenge is a great opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause and to raise awareness about your organization and get back at cancer while having a great time!
How You Can Participate
Gather a team of four and choose a captain. Each team must raise at least $240 in pledges to be eligible for the race. In fact, you can ‘BUY your way to the winners stand.’ For every $150 raised over the registration fee, you will have one second deducted from your team time.
Any team can win if you raise enough money for the Jimmy Fund. All team racers receive a lift ticket for the day, a goodie bag, and a barbecue lunch. Individual racers are also welcome when they make a contribution of $70, which includes a lift ticket for the day and a barbecue lunch. After the races, unwind in the Nashoba Valley ski lodge with family, friends and guests, and attend our post-event awards and live auction.
All proceeds from the event benefit cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
